I want to know weather a big company requires a customer relationship management and is there any necessary to build an effective knowledge Base. I need some ideas about crm (customer relationship management). plz reply

It depends on what the company does. We, for instance, do hosting, web design, coding, PC & Network tech, etc. We use SugarCRM (SugarCRM - Commercial Open Source CRM) to task client jobs to our subcontractors, as well as to track projects. Eventually we plan to add to it so we can generate billing directly from it (as projects progress, trigger invoicing). It does other stuff too, but the selling point for us is to be able to connect clients with jobs.
