url with www. and without www. problem

Hi ,

I have a problem.. I created a unix plan. And signedup for a webpage of mine.. After the account created everything is normal. I can login to control panel.. But
when i try to navigate the site without www. site opens correctly but when i put www. it doesnt

also i can connect to ftp via ftp.mydomain.com i can only connect when i only write mydomain.com as a ftp adress.

How can i solve the problem.. Anyone have an idea ?
 
You might also have a local DNS cache causing the issue, sometimes going to start->run->cmd (press enter)
then from the command prompt type:
ipconfig /flushdns


then try to open the sites, that sometimes works if it is not an ISP cache issue.
