win27 issue - cloned to new hardware

Re: win27 issue - checking

We are having to send a tech to check on the server here.

Re: win27 issue - checking

Having some issues getting a tech, and datacenter tech is on vacation.

Re: win27 issue - checking

Ok got tech on the way now 20-30min ETA to there.

Re: win27 issue - checking

ok at the tech turned the power on to the server, the board blew capacitors off...this is not good.

Re: win27 issue - moving to new hardware

We are about to copy the HD off to new hardware. We will be 2-4 hours to resolve.

Re: win27 issue - moving to new hardware

About 100GB of the data restored now. There is about 60-80GB more to go (it is restoring logs too and I don't know what that is exactly on the count right now)

Re: win27 issue - moving to new hardware

Still copying, we hit a few slow points in the copy, just over 160GB done now.

Re: win27 issue - moving to new hardware

Right on the brink of done with the file copy....very very soon will be up on shared IP, then we will mount the dedicated IPs.

Re: win27 issue - moving to new hardware

in Windows now installing new drivers for new NIC etc, rebooting and we'll have shared IP up and mount dedicated shortly after.

Re: win27 issue - moving to new hardware

IIS is starting up, we have used a clone of the HD as it was at time of the crash to bring this up, so there is no file level backup recovery done.
