Is jodo sure that doing so won't break the installs or cause issues elsewhere especially for example if an upgrade takes place since the jodos fix was implemented.

Any idea when the worpress admin areas will be available for customers? current requests return 404 error, although i'm at least happy that the front ends are working

This attack must be quite random, I followed stephens link to the wht forum and can see how idespread the issue is, I have some other wordpress sites hosted both in the U.S and Australia that so far seem unaffected by this. Fingers crossed here. I can aonly assume that any sites/cms/shopping...

Some customers are having mail delivery denied due to invalid content. Seems to me the issue is not with the mail servers at jodo and possibly confined to exchange servers. Was hoping someone with more knowledge about this kind of thing might chime in with some ideas. I often tell my customers...

Ticket was lodged prior to posting on the forum 3 days ago. mail1 and mail3 are still listed with mail3 listed on 3 lists but mail2 is now off the lists

Yep maybe I should've worded it a bit better as I did realise it wasn't relevant to the blacklisting of jodos IP's but nonetheless an interesting tun of events.

mail2 is listed on mail spike. I don't know if mail-spike is a major rbl list or not but I've had 2 customers having issues sending mail via mail2 due to the mail server reputation mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist%3a173.0.137.148

Completely agree....:) some customers have mentioned the old emails showing up,I appreciate jodos response in getting this back up and running. Thankfully most of my business customers have been unaware of this issue due to it being a weekend. Thanks again

I appreciate that it's been a trying few days for jodo techs but I was hoping there might be a possibility of getting an eta on mail1 cl2 being available again. It's mid sunday morning here in australia and I have some irate customers asking when this will be resolved.

Since the mail server outage I can't login to mail1 via my email program (outlook 2007) can login via webmail

Using nzkiwi's suggestion and jodos alternate SMTP Port has always worked for me as well. PHPMailer is also definitely worth having a look at

customers are reporting issues with sending mail via mail1. When trying to send via horde db connection errors are reported. Outlook is receiving internal server errors and/or timeouts. I have lodged this a ticket ticket CUV-71497-557
