Can someone do an IE6 check for me?

http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage It's a bit buggy (doesn't crash the PC, just itself) but very useful for checking pages in various IEs.

    Living in the Future

When I was a kid, watching the very first episode of Star Trek on a flakey old black and white TV in a house with no heating or indoor toilet, I wanted to live in the future. (It was a long time ago... the World Wide Web was still 24 years away!) 2010 seemed an appropriate futuristic date to...

    Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all. Checking out Jodohost's 7 years announcement, I realised I've been with them for 6 of those... time flies. My own company growth hasn't been quite so dramatic in that time, but thank you to the staff at Jodohost for making it possible at all, and providing a reliable...

    What is "Reseller Amount?"

I had one of these on 18th May, apparently associated with a little-used account that is a year old. (Email sent, but no response yet.)

    isp problems :(

2400bps... you lucky b*stard. My first modem was 1200bps, and it was hard to get that running reliably. Before that, we had to strap floppy disks to the backs of carrier pigeons and hope for the best. I still remember the first time I connected to a BBS and saw my input come up on the remote...

    Ming

Is Ming installed on any of the win servers? It's a standard extension of windows PHP, as far as I know. Can we get it enabled on win19?

    AWStats on Win Servers?

Most of my sites that use AWstats have been recording only about one tenth of the usual statistics since the end of February. Some have recorded none (even though they have daily RSS feeds). Some Webalizer stats are similarly affected, but apparently not all. This is a big problem for some...

    Wordpress not sending mail

Welll, it's a Perl module, not a specific Linux format, so ActivePerl on Windows should be able to run it just fine (as long as it knows where it is). I think the problem often comes with trying to use localhost rather than smtp on Windows. This doesn't seem to work at all.

    Wordpress not sending mail

Sorry to stomp all over the Wordpress thread, but I did get Sendmail working in Movable Type 3.35 on Windows (which may help the Wordpress setup). Here's how.... 1. Get MT to the point where it all works except that when you try to send a notification mail it tells you the sendmail path is...

    Wordpress not sending mail

I've a similar problem with Movable Type on Windows. phpinfo says "Internal Sendmail Support for Windows" is enabled, but there's no sendmail_path (and Movable Type says the sendmail path is invalid). What is it? Failing that, has anyone had success using Windows smtp with Movable...

    DNS down

All sites are down due to missing DNS. No mail, either. Is there an expected repair time for this?

Emails not going through to other Jodohost domains

I didn't say it did. If dspam thinks a mail is spam, Spamassassin gives it a whole 7.0 pts for that reason alone. That means Spamassassin treats it as spam in 'normal' mode, even if it sees nothing else wrong with the mail, and it then does whatever it normally does with spam; delete it or mark...

Emails not going through to other Jodohost domains

I've had exactly that problem today with a client. One test mail from one domain gets through, and an identical test mail using a different domain in the From line gets flagged as spam by dspam. The two domains are on the same JH account, and the mails were sent through the same ISP account...

Recording of all DSPAM False-Positives. (Sticky this?)

"size=2>+<font, 0.99000, &nbsp+by, 0.99000, face=Verdana><font, 0.99000," 3 points for using size 2 verdana and a space ? This is seriously broken. If it classes emails as spam because they use the most common font and size, then it's useless.

Recording of all DSPAM False-Positives. (Sticky this?)

Dspam certainly seems to be creating a lot more false positives in the last couple of days. I'm getting mail marked spam that has never been before, even mail from our own websites. This one gave it 3 points for having the right date! Very poor.... Content analysis details: (7.1...

    Movable Type install problems

Next problem.. to send notification mail through smtp, it needs the Mail::Sendmail Perl module installed. Can we do that?
