    What happened to Win1 today?

Yash, I have not experienced a single problem since Win1 was migrated to Win5 (about 1 month now). It's been running great. I'm not complaining about downtime. I don't know the nature of the problems that Win6 experienced and I'm not implying that today's Win5 problems are the same. I can...

    What happened to Win1 today?

Ok, Win5 it is. When I noticed that my sites were down, I did a little more looking around. By the time I was ready to open ticket, my sites were up again, so I didn't bother. This morning is the first time I've seen these Out Of Memory errors. Based on what I see in the log, the exception...

    What happened to Win1 today?

I realize that Win1 was "migrated" recently, but I'm not sure the total scope of "migrated". To the best of my knowledge, my sites are on Win1. When I use FTP to upload/download, the host is win1.jodoshared.com. So I guess now I have 2 questions: What server are my sites on? What was going...

    What happened to Win1 today?

I tried to check my sites at 11:00AM ET and got Server Not Found errors. Sites were back up by about 11:15AM ET. I looked in my logs and found some 500 Internal Server Error messages and some Out Of Memory Error messages from a little earlier. What's going on? riley

    "dirs" files

All of my domains and subdomains contain a file named "dirs" with timestamps of 040517 12:10. I didn't put them there. Are these files artifacts of the Win1 Migration and, if so, can I delete them? If they are not artifacts, do you have any idea what they are and how they got there? I can...

    Win1 Migration

Wow, I'm impressed. That's the most transparent change you guys have ever made, and all seems to be working fine. In fact, my sites are much faster now. I do have a couple questions: 1) I have always set my FTP client to win1.jodoshared.com. This still works, but points to the old server...

Did the win1 migration happen last night (Tuesday, 11 PM)? I haven't heard anything one way or the other and was just wondering. riley

ASP.Net - Unable to delete file

I think you will have to open a support ticket, asking them to give ASPNET permission for that folder. riley

If IIS mapping were available to us, you might have a better solution. But, under the circumstances, I can't think of anything better. riley

    Win1 Migration - Friday 11pm Eastern

Is the Win1 migration Stephen wrote about in General Announcements going to include a downgrade to win2000? In other words, is this the migration jodohost has been planning for some months now, or something else? riley

    Multiple Domains

Not at all. For <img> tags, the client (visitor's browser) obtains and processes the resource. So, you could keep all the images within one domain and simply specify the entire url in pages in other domains: <img src="myprimarydomain.com/images/myimage.jpg"> This is not the greatest...

    Raw Logs problem

Stephen, If PSoft only supports daily logs in a format of their own specification, than that's just the way it is. As much as I appreciate the effort you have put into this issue, I'm not sure it's worth while putting a lot of time into a workaround. Workarounds have a habit of breaking as...

    Raw Logs problem

The sites seem to be logging now, but they are still logging into subfolders. Following the "upgrade" to 2.4, the logs were written to folders like this: /logs/mydomain.com/exyymmdd.log After your attempt to restore IIS log functionallity, they were (and still are) written like this...

Stephen, I appreciate your efforts. I'm not sure what state the logs are in right now, because currently, Win1 seems to be down. riley
