In the past I always just submitted a ticket for a SQL View login and it was done in a matter of minutes. This has taken all day to be resolved.

I did request that in the ticket and they told me that SQL View is disabled. I tried to reply saying that that was unacceptable, but my reply isn't showing up, which is why I came here. This was their response:

It was a backup created from sql manager, it was not from a crash dump. I'll see if I can get another backup, but if not, is there something that can be done with this .DMP file? it is too large to open to see if it is human readable (891,729 KB)

I have a .DMP file that I need to restore to a new SQL database. I tried doing it through mssq2.mydomain.net/mssql, but it errored out after about 20 minutes. The .DMP file is quite large. What is the best way to restore a .DMP file? Thanks.
