when linking to a password protected folder the easiest way is to use http://username
assword@server. At least after what I know.
That was what I did, but when users clicked that link, they got an error. but I didn't get that error. I submitted a ticket and there they said this was something in the latest IE6 patches
so to the question: is it possible to link to a password protected folder other ways than this without users have to enter the username and password?
