All sites on Win20 are down after Migration

Am I missing something about the recent migration of Win 20? I have no dedicated IPs on Win20 but all the sites on that server are down. They all us e a custom Name Server and I understood that their would be no Name Server changes at this time. What do I need to update on my Win 20 sites to get them back online? Thanks for any help!
 
Let me clarify a bit more, the sites are not down completely, but all 14 actual sites are showing the HShpere CP page.

Seriously, am I just confused or am I having an real issue after the migration? I thought this would be seamless, that the old IPs would be online, and the site files would be migrated. Do I have to upload the sites again?

I've used the IP Lookup tool and it returns no results for any of the IPs I've entered.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
 
All files have been moved(multiple times). I'd recommend a ticket, you can PM me a domain as well if all in one account we can check it out.

It could also be something more simple like the CP page has been there in your files all along, but directory indexes reset to default index.html instead of what you had.

I normally recommend removing default files before uploading new (this is general advice I don't know that this happened there)

Thanks for the reply. I have submitted a ticket as well: [RS #CGJ-85812-247] . Most of these sites are using ASP and probably do have the original CP index.html in the root. They should generally all have the directory index turned off and it is this way for accounts on the old server that haven't been migrated yet as well so I'm not sure why this would cause an issue.

If directory indexes are off and ASP is on shouldn't it default to default.asp? I don't recall having to specify this for the sites. I tried removing the index.html page on one site and it appears to bring it back online so I'll try with the others. I agree, the CP indexes should generally be removed.

In Hsphere terms 'directory indexes' is more like "Default page load order"

It is not directory browsing which should be OFF in most every case.

Glad to know the files are there :)
 
Yes it appears that I can fix this by removing the index.html and CP files. I was looking for a default page load order setting in Hsphere but can't find it right now. Is there one? Thanks!

Ok, so since I haven't set this on these sites previously I assume that when I turn on the ASP setting it updates the directory index to default and when the migration occurred this ASP setting was not transferred. Is this correct? Just want to be clear about why it worked without setting this before and what I need to do differently. Thanks!

actually no it doesn't change anything to default when enabling ASP/PHP etc. That is all manually set as some use index.asp, some default.asp some home.asp etc.

I can't fully answer why these may not have come across in setting before, they may have been set manually at some point.
 
Sorry Stephen, I'm still a bit confused... and I know you are a busy guy. :)

Jodohost support helped with a few from my ticket but none of the domains show Directory Indexes turned on or set on the Web Services configuration page for the domain in the Hsphere CP. Where I have deleted the HTML page it works as well.

Where I'm confused is that I don't see where the support staff has set this for me on some domains. Is there a global setting for a sub CP, does it have to be done on a per domain basis, or is the support staff setting this somewhere on the backend that does not replicate to the domain configuration page? Thanks!
 
Ok, I'm all good now. It appears this can be set server side and that this does not show up in the HSphere settings, which explains why I didn't see this set anywhere. This must have been set server side for all these sites at some point. I will be sure to set this specifically in the future so I don't get confused again. Thanks for the help Stephen!
