Has anyone had any success editing their SPF DNS record to Pass their ISPs mail server?
Here's my TXT entry:
v=spf1 ip4:204.10.105.67 a mx a:yahoo.com mx:yahoo.com ?all
This passes the domain okay, but returns 'neutral' for yahoo mail servers, even though it can see the mail comes from a yahoo smtp. (yahoo.com does not have an SPF record, so 'include:yahoo.com' can't be used).
Here are the returned headers for a mail sent through Yahoo:
//
Received: from smtp111.sbc.mail.re2.yahoo.com (68.142.229.94) by mail3.myh*phere.biz with SMTP; 10 May 2006 13:11:28 -0000
Received-SPF: neutral (mail3.myh*phere.biz: 68.142.229.94 is neither permitted nor denied by SPF record at ***.com)
identity=mailfrom; client-ip=68.142.229.94;
etc
//
So what am I doing wrong? Any ideas?
