Backups

Hi,

I've a client who mistakenly lost all emails downloaded on Monday due to an error with Outlook. I understand JodoHost do regular backups but I seem to be having no luck getting a restore of this client's email.

Do the email servers get backed up and if so why is it not possible to restore? Have I misunderstood the purpose of backups?

Anyone, please advise. I regard this as a critical problem.

We backup the mail servers, but do not officially provide restores for mail accounts. Extracting individual mail boxes from our backup files are too complicated.

We only provide free restores for website files and databases
