Billing Periods?

I added a 3 month billing period for a Hosting Plan. How/when do clients get the option to pay 3 or 1 month?

If they are currently on monthly do they get the option for the 3 month on their next billing cycle? If not how can I change a customer over to the 3 month cycle?

xscott, your customer (s) will have to edit their billing period from 1 month to 3 month manually. Your customer should have enough credit balance in his account to pay fees of new billing period.

One follow up question:

Do I raise the credit limit? or customer add more money to the account? And for them to add money to the account they could transfer via the PayPal form in their billing profile?

You can choose any.

Like if you are doing client's Billing Period alteration/upgradation, just enlage the credit limit and change it. Later your customers will pay to balance the negative balance of their account.

Or First they pay, you credit their account with payment amount and then they do period upgrade.
