I read a thread by Antic which explaining using CDOSYS to queue the email list to send out mass emails for less time. I am planning to change my current app. from using system.web.mail to CDOSYS. CDOSYS should work fine i believe. However, because the emails are not sent our immediately while the application's running, what if the mail server shuts down or reboots(once a while jodo does this to fix problems). Would that email list on the queue disapear = emails not sending out?
if that's the case, is there a way to track down if the emails were sent out? or sent out partially(what are the email address sent out and what are not)?
