Windows updates hung after update reboot, and also hanging to roll back, we're going to have to roll all the way back to a restoration from backup which is starting in jut a few moments. These occasionally happen, and a huge headache
had a minor hiccup not seeing the backup drive in USB 3 port, but moved to USB 2 and it is progressing. It's a bit slower than the 3 would have been but now at 22% complete.
It's at 79% on the restore, and we're going to be able to throw an extra 4GB of RAM on the server while it's on the final reboot here as well which will give it a significant boost in performance for this unfortunate downtime due to upgrades gone awry.
The % it as giving was just for the windows partition, I had already selected for it to restore the log drive so that it would make the partition for it, its got a lot of data and restoring now.
Server is all up now, to a state just prior by an hour to when the updates fouled up. Data in the user folders, is untouched (not restored) just the OS drive and logs.
