I'm thinking of moving my site to your hosting. It's a danish .dk domain and your name servers are probably not approved by DK Hostmaster A/S who is the administrator for DK-TLD (Danish Top Level Domain) right? Are they ns1.jodoshared.com and ns2.jodoshared.com if so I can see from this link that there are not. http://www.dk-hostmaster.dk/dkhostc...m&pageid=132&action=cmsview&language=en&dns=1

I have though the oppertunity to go through a free danish dns service. That should work right?
 
Has anybody used ns1.jodoshared.com with a .pt domain?

I have a client that has a .pt domain and he is going to move to my hosting plan.

you can (and have to) specify ns1 and ns2.jodoshared.com for any domain whether its .pt or .dk

But I cannot since they are not valid and approved nameserver at DK Hostmaster. I cannot perform a redelegation of my domain to a nonapproved name server...

Of course you could have them approved for a small fee but I don't know if your willing to pay that since you probably don't have many danish customers.

The DK Whois link you gave above is for domains which have been registered with the .DK TLD. It has nothing to do with hosts, and that is not a site for "approval" of hosts. Any domain can be hosted anywhere at all.

Edit: just saw your second link. I feel that is irrelevant. There should be nothing to stop a domain from being hosted anywhere. This may be a form of flexing or lax regulations.

While nothing stops a domain from being hosted anywhere I do have to perform the redelegation via the dk-hostmaster site and they won't approve the move if it's not an approved name server for danish domains. One option I've heard from other danes is to use Hidden Primary DNS via a free danish dns service.

But I think I'll try somewhere else but thanks for your replies.
 
I just signed up 3 days ago and is preparing to upload my sites all with tld .DK ... and the .dk hostmaster (dk-hostmaster.dk) is still not able to use nsX.jodoshared.com

exact message:

"The name server, ns3.jodoshared.com, is not registrated at DK Hostmaster A/S. According to the rules, all name servers used for serving .dk domain name must be registrated at DK Hostmaster A/S. Please correct the error and try again."
