DNS Fun

I'm sorry for bugging people again, but I figured since this forum is for VPS folks like myself, and there are a others out there (fingers crossed) ...

I have added another domain to my Plesk control panel, it automatically gave ns.<domain>.net.

How can I get that domain to use the ns servers of my other domain (ie. ns/ns2.quadonline.org)?

I'd rather share a domain server instead of having two seperate ones for each domain :)

Is this possible? Im hoping it is, so far I'm ... lovin' it ..

Yes, it is possible, on left side, go to Server, then click DNS, then edit the template that is used for each domain.

It will have something like "ns.<domain>."

You can delete then then add ns.quadonline.org and so on, that should fix you up.

Thanks for the info! :) Unfortunately, Plesk forces the .<domain>. on any new A record. so when I deleted the ns A record, and went to replace it, Plesk forced the above.

How do I get around that?

Did you edit on the client side or DNS server side? This change has to be done on the "Server, DNS" side.
