Email Form - Pull & Send XP Login Name

Hi all,

Quick question that hopefully someone might be able to help me with...

I've made a quick email form for our Intranet at work, and what they'd like to do is for it to pull the person's XP login name, and send it with the form - ie, so we know who it came from, without them filling in the 'name' field.

Does anyone know how this could be done please?

EDIT - Or another way would be to pull info from an Intranet cookie called oliver_m@inet[1].txt or oliver_m@inet[2].txt - oliver_m being the person's XP login.

Any help would be great!

you can get that info if you use windows authentication. what language are you programming in?

Thanks very much for the links, but I can't seem to get it to work at all.

I just need to pull through the username, and send it along with the details they fill in on the form.

Any ideas on a quick set of code to do that?
