Email problems

I'm facing this problem 2 or 3 times a day :
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'CHW Billing', Server: 'localhost', Protocol: POP3, Port: 38461, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I need an explanation for this.

It started to work again. I need to know the reason for this and if this always happens am transferring all my accounts now, these are important clients that can't bear having their emails down. Pls. confirm the status cos I having been hosting with another company for 3 years now, their service is excellent except for the high bills.

I can see no reason why this should be happening other than some connectivity issues through your ISP. I have seen no other customers complaining of the same. If this is happening regularly, please PM me a traceroute

no way as I'm having like 14 emails on my outlook with different companies, the problem occurs on the accounts hosted with your company, also i have one of my clients reeported the same problem. I need an explanation or else I would stay with my current hosting company.

midosa, as I said the issue you are reporting is being experienced by no other customers. The error message clearly indicates to me some connection problem via your ISP to our mail server.

Please submit a ticket with a traceroute to our mailserver.

Just out of curiosity? What mails client is giving you this error? Is this Outlook?

Anyway Midosa, the message apparently says everything: Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity
Since everybody shouts at once when there is a server problem, or Jodo Network problem,...I believe if this were the case there would be a lot of people posting the same problem....you know what I mean?

Let's wait and see...
Unless posts start coming in...I cant imagine the problem would be server related and only affecting your account...and not others.
Let's keep an eye...
