hi friends
i have a problem receiving excel attachments from external mail servers(Yahoo,gmail etc.,) . i am able to receive the attachment. But when i am trying to open it is showing error message stating that "xyz.xls cannot be accessed.The file may be read-only, or may be trying to access a read-only
location, or the server the document is stored on may not responding.". if i click cancel it is opening the excel document and all the data in the document is O.K. But why it is displaying that error message? This is not the case if i send the excel file attachment within the exchange Organisation. My exchange server is configured with SMTP connector to send mails to external web mail server and configured poproute to download from web mail server(third party).
i tried even disabling the e-mail scanner on my exchange server, but even the same problem.
Pls can any body help me out?
