Forum skin

I'm afraid I don't like the new look and feel of the forums. There's a big space between messages in a thread, such that I have missed replies. Can this space be removed?

There used to be links back through the forum hierarchy. So, let's say I was viewing threads in the Mail support forum, I could click on one of the breadcrumb links w/in a message to return to the forum. Now, I'm forced to click Forum Home and then go back into the target forum. Could you add those breadcrumb links back in?

I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.9 on WinXP.

I found a tip in the "Forum Search" thread that suggested changing to the default skin (drop-down list at the very bottom of the page). That set me back to using the former skin. Cool, all my objections are taken care of with that change.

Yeah, the breadcrumb feature was a useful one, if the forum skinners could work that back in.

Edit: Also, I just tried the hybrid display mode, as an alternative to the breadcrumb. It crashes my opera for some reason.
