Ftp ??

I set up my FTP client and uploaded all my files and the website works, but now I need to do some maintenance I cannot find any files in my FTP window

This has me completely foxed.

If my user name is topshed
and my domain name is britishsteam.com, what do I need to put in my remote folder location in WSFPT to see my files

In WSFPT I get

STATUS:> Connect: Monday 23:24:32 10-13-2003
STATUS:> Connected. Authenticating...
230 User topshed logged in.
STATUS:> Login successful
STATUS:> This site can resume broken downloads
STATUS:> Retrieving directory listing...
COMMAND:> PORT 203,217,37,87,18,20
200 PORT command successful.
COMMAND:> NLST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list.
Then appears to hang until it times out

425 Can't open data connection.


In Cute FTP it reports

230 User topshed logged in.
STATUS:> Login successful
COMMAND:> NLST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list.
425 Can't open data connection.

I was using topshed/britishsteam.com/ but that now does not seem to work

Please help

Yes Zone Alarm but the clients have full permissions

I don't if this will help but I see support mention that we should be using Active Mode in FTP, NOT Passive Mode. Maybe you can check this setting?

Were you able to successfully upload before this problem appeared via FTP?
Please open a ticket with your FTP username and password.

I was able to replicate your problem with ZoneAlarm
Simply turn it off and it will work
