It's been a struggle but I have eventually managed to get a site hosted on my reseller package but before I open a ticket or do the live chat thing I thought I'd ask for your help on the best way to proceed.
Here's the problem...
I've configured a site which I can access without changing the nameservers for the time being. I've uploaded a .tar.gz backup file from my old hosting company (running ensim not h-sphere so don't know if compatible) and I now want to extract it here.
Problem is that this is an oscommerce site and I dont know whether it will just work when unzipped or whether I will need to do anything else in relation to the database.
Should I install oscommerce here first then unzip or unzip then install then backup the database????????????
Any advice on a path to take would be appreciated.
Oh, I have no idea how you unzip a file if anyone can help with that as well
