Microsoft anti virus - now finalized

MS has released their own AV now, it is actually much later than I ever expected it as they purchased two AV firms within the last years.

The Microsoft antiSpyware that renamed to Windows Defender was essentially Giant Antispyware initially. it worked pretty well, but nothing amazing.

However, this new app it very unobtrusive and I have it installed here on my laptop now.

I have to say I am pretty impressed with this so far. It is as you say one of the least annoying anti-virus/malware systems I have used.

Definitely going to be using it on my pcs.

Agree... running it on two laptops now - will probably replace OneCare on other systems as time goes by (and MS isn't selling OneCare anymore)

just to say again, really liking it. no slowdowns, no annoying popups, no speed degradation.

I second Stephen's observations... i'm quite impressed with both installs I'm running - really don't know it there.
