Moving asp sites

I need to move a couple asp sites from a host that went out of business but I don't know anything about asp hosting.

Do I need to determine which version of asp the sites are currently running or what will that affect?

I downloaded the files from the other host and am uploading them here. They interact with some sort of sharepoint in-house server but is it possible they may work just fine after the domain name propagates and is pointing here?

I guess I will find out soon and ask some questions if the site don't work.

if they are just ending in .asp then there is no need for version info. If they are .aspx you need to find if 1.1/2.0 version
