MSSQL down now???

win6 is working great but now mssql1 isn't working!!! It would sure be nice if all of these things worked together!!!

there is no problem with mssql1.. www.webwizguide.info uses it as well.

You had the wrong IP address for the mail, you has 108.1 instead of 107.1, just FYI.

MSSQL2 seems to not be properly accepting logins. No settings changed but i'm getting the following error in SQL Enterprise Manager

"Connection could not be established to MSSQL2.**
Reason: Timeout Expired
Please verify SQL Server is running."

it pops up that message after only about 2 seconds of trying to connect.

all my sites work fine connecting to the DB, is this because of the dns changes?

Yes they seemed to have changed the IP without telling anyone. Well I didn't see anything at least. It used to be 64.156.220.238

To be honest I don't understand why people use IPs to connect to their database server.. There's like a 99.99% chance that the hostname will be locally cached anyway.

I did because using the name didn't seem to work right all the time. So I tried the IP and it worked.
