Need help configuring mail

Hello,

We just opened a web hosting account and are migrating our various web sites and domains to this account. However, we host our own email server, so I need to get things configured corrrectly so that mail sent to our domain gets passed on to us and does not stay on Jodohost. What all do I need to do to make this happen?

In the "Edit Domain" area of the CP, should I have "Mail Service" turned on or off?

Under "DNS Configuration" I have added the following, which correspond to our server:

Custom MX records
xxxcompanydomain.com IN MX 10 xxxcompanydomain.com.s5a1.psmtp.com
xxxcompanydomain.com IN MX 20 xxxcompanydomain.com.s5a2.psmtp.com
xxxcompanydomain.com IN MX 30 xxxcompanydomain.com.s5b1.psmtp.com
xxxcompanydomain.com IN MX 40 xxxcompanydomain.com.s5b2.psmtp.com

Is this the correct way to set this up?

Is there anything else that I need to do for our mail to be correctly passed on to our own mail server?
 
Hello,

First I would recommend for that main domain having Mail set to OFF, make sure Custom DNS is ON, then, create the records as you need in the Custom DNS screen for the custom MX records.
