PayPal setup

PayPal payments were working before the HSphere upgrade but aren't any more. I saw some notes in the upgrade thread about this, but I'm afraid I'm too thick-headed to figure out what settings I need to configure.

Can someone please post a summary of what I should fill in in the gateway config for these items:

Server: _________
Port: _________
Path: _________

Also, can you confirm the PayPal IPN address. I think I have it correct, but I want to be sure.

Could somebody clarify once and for all if we can have PayPal fully automated transfers? Without the customer on the other side having to confirm payments every month?

I would like to suggest you to please have a look at the following guide http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation/reseller/paypal.html that will help you to re-check and correct the web payment gateway settings in your account.


Server: the server used to run transactions. It can be www.paypal.com or paypal.com in regards to what you issued certificate for.
Port: enter the port to be used.
Path: indicate the path.

If you still confused about the values, you may open a ticket in support. Our team will find the values according to your hosting account setting and let you know.

Also, we are using paypal as a semi automatic payment mode for accepting web payments for our business. Once a client pay though his Hshpere cp, payments will automatically get credited into his account, after they clear on paypal website.

Thanks Gurmeet. The help docs on the PSoft site are different than those on the JodoHost site. Psoft's pages contain the info I was looking for. Perhaps you guys should update your documentation.
