Problems with domains

I have registered a domain name and I want it to point to a particular address but I am having trouble getting it to work.

The instructions from the hosting provider are as follows:
Sign in to your current domain name registrar's Web site.
Locate the section on your domain name registrar's Web site where you can edit your DNS Settings or Name Server Settings.
Within the DNS Settings section, locate the place where you can change your A-Record IP Address.
Type your A-record IP Address.

If my domain is www.myDomain.com and I have been given the ip address 111.111.111.111, how do I configure the name servers for the domain to point to the correct ip address?

I tried setting the name servers to
ns1.myDomain.com,
ns2.myDomain.com
and the Child Name Servers to
ns1.myDomain.com 111.111.111.111
ns2.myDomain.com 111.111.111.111

but that doesn't work...

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

To point domain to your hosting provider's server you need to use their nameserevrs so just contact hosting provider and ask for nameservers that you need to use and change nameserevrs in domain control panel. If still have issue then send us ticket and mention domain name.
