I have not seen the JodoHost email options in use yet.

Would it be possible to setup...

JodoHost <---> Jabber/email.agent <---> Client

Where the Jabber/email.agent and client are in an office, and email is forwarded to them without using up metered bandwidth.

But you are right. Once upon a time, there was an e-mail agent for the Jabber server, but nobody was willing to maintain it - so it died.

My knowledge was out of date. Jabber, at the moment, is interoperable with other IM services only.
