Secondary Mail Server

To give redundancy to our mail system, we have setup a secondary relay mail server - mail2.jodoshared.com. This mail server will ensure that no email is lost incase the primary mail server - mail.jodoshared.com goes offline. If the primary server does go down, it will store all email and forward it to the primary mail server when it goes up

Mail2 is not a public mail server and hence it cannot be used to send/receive email. Its role is simply as a backup mail server.

To use the secondary mail server, shared customers must go into their control panel and enable mail relay on each of their domains from Mail Manager. This will create a second MX record for your domains.

Resellers must first create the mail2.yourdomain.com alias from Reseller Admin CP > E.Manager > Server Aliases. Next they must enable Mail Relay on all their packages. Once done, their customers can enable it from their CP
