Hi all,
In SQL2005 Management Studio, in the Registered Servers window, you can register a new server, and in the Connection Properties tab set the default database to connect to.
All well and good, however when you do all that and double-click the connection, it connects OK - but then in the Object Explorer or Summary windows, you still get plonked at the top level and have to navigate to the right database you want anyway.
So is there any way to really getting SQLMS to connect you to a default database and plonk you at the Table list instead?
If not, then setting a default database is a bit redundant.. which seems to be a general theme with SQLMS..
