signing up for trial

I want to signup for a trial account but don't own a domain yet. I plan to buy one at a later time. Can I try a package without a domain and add one at a later time?

What most of our customers do is signup with a third level domain (eg: xyz.jodohost.com) and use that to try out the package. When they finally buy a domain, they could use that by adding it to the CP.
