Site and CP down?

I'm hoping it's just my connection. I can't access any sites/ftp or control panels.

No clients have called yet, so hopefully it's just me... I can obviously get to this forum.

Anyone else have trouble?

No troubles here, have been using the CP some today.
Sites and CP are different servers, so it is certainly not just a server issue, it sounds like possibly DNS for you or a local ISP.
 
ok, great, good to know it is back up for you :)

Good thing we don't use cogent except for total backup if all others go down.
 
weren't there other recent threads about Congent? ironic that our backup is the one that give people the most trouble. ;)
 
well we don't use it at all unless every other route is down, it is literally THE backup, it was probably his isp using it that was down, or some hop between :)

Even if a user is on cogent, they will go another route to get to us unless all other routes to us are down. But if Cogent does down on its side, it is still down to get to us, if you understand what I mean there :)

We have had a route come into us via cogent for about 10 minutes in the last year, it was for testing the failover system, I think that was just last month.
