After 15 years we learned the hard way that having one host is dangerous in the Internet world as so many go out of business abruptly.
We have several h sphere hosting accounts and spread out our clients for safety.
Last summer microsoft made a change to their browser which caused problems with the javascript commands in SiteStudio, we sent you the hack, you installed it. It worked for a while.
We have several h sphere hosts and these issues are now industry wide. We now, for over a year, have to teach clients how to remove IE8 and reinstall IE7 if they want to use Site Studio. "So much fun"
Now the costs are starting to add up, hundreds of hours having to teach workarounds to clients this is getting silly and we need help. We called Parallels and were told every time that "They do not write or repair software!" they just sell it. If you post things into their forums you usually get nothing, a common complaint for Parallels.
Yet we find that Virtuozzo works fine for our VPS.
So anyway,
IE8: formatting buttons in rich text editor don't work. Save and exit now works.
Firefox: launch rich text editor button may or may not show up. Intermittent.
Next button to navigate thru editor pages does not work.
BOTH: add <BR>'s throughout in tables.
Moral of the story, Parallels is trying to force use of Site Builder. Some hosts are asking for $2 per user per month for Site Builder. which makes us out of line to compete with anyone such as Godaddy/Yahoo because they have really excellent editors for as low as $5 per month or less.
What are we going to do, we have hundreds of sites to migrate to roll all of them into Cpanel? Is h sphere dying, is Site Studio dying. Some hosts are calling it legacy?
