Unbelievable fast!

I changed a website from an asp.net hosting to linux hosting.
I had the old ns1, and ns2, so that implicated to change my dns in my registrar as well.
Installing the new CMS was actually a copy-paste.
But, my website is running in the new linux account in less than 15 minutes!!
Why the DNS propageted that fast?
One is always warned about taking to 24 to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate, but this was not the case... at all!

:D Good stuff

It doesn't always happen that way.

Actually much of DNS cache is ISP dependent as some ISPs do 24-48 cache.

Actually something strange happen. I wanted to show off my site to a friend, who happens to have the same ISP as I have, just she lives in the other extreme of the city. But she could not see my site for hours. By IP it worked of course, but not by name.
