IPs are in short supply and ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) has been pushing hosting companies to conserve IP space and promote name-based hosting. ARIN no longer accepts virtual accounts as sufficient justification for an IP assignment. We have to state valid reasons for all dedicated IPs used by our customers and submit them to our ISP
Thus, it is necessary that customers provide justification to us. All JodoHost customers using dedicated IPs are requested to visit http://ipdatabase.jodoshared.com
They can login to the system using their control panel username and password. From there, they must add all IPs they are using and state reasons for their usage
IPs that are not registered into this system will be delocated within 3 days. This is thus an imperative for customers to complete
This system does not apply currently to Resellers and their customers. A separate system for our resellers will be setup within a week.
