web2 migration - Starting 10:30PM EDT, Tuesday July 21, 2009

Starting at 10:30PM EDT on Tuesday July 21, we will be performing a migration of the web2 server to a new hardware platform. The current server is experiencing some technical problems at RAID level causing file system corruption.

We plan to maintain the old server up and running up right up to the time of the actual migration. Web services should be down less than 30 minutes during the migration. We will provide updates throughout the migration process if there are any changes to these plans.

Currently we are performing data migration to new server in back ground. That is going to completed tomorrow night.

Note :- During data migration, no site on the current server will be effected.

For speeding data migration, we are stopping ftp service on source server.

Now we are starting ip migration from old server to new server.

IPs have been moved to the new webserver. There are some webserver configuration issues that we are working on, and will have them resolved shortly.

All services are running fine from new server. Migration has been finished.
