Weekend (11/12th June) Server Migrations - Win19/21 MSSQL8

We will be migrating win19 and 21(only a few accounts remain on it), and MSSQL8 this weekend.

MSSQL8 will additionally be upgraded from SQL 2000 to 2008 in the process.
 
The MSSQL8 file transfer is taking a bit longer than planned, but still moving solidly along.
 
CP will be offline for IP Migration

Control Panel is being stopped for IP Migration process to proceed.
 
SQL8 is moving from moving up upgrading process now. We will test current SQL 2000 functionality, then work on upgrade.
 
the SQL 2008 rule check took a while, but the upgrade process is moving along well so far.
 
Databases are starting up on the upgraded SQL server, but also going through intensive upgrade process. I am keeping the server offline while the per DB upgrades continue.

MSSQL8 is past user DBs and working on the Microsoft DB we are nearing to end here.

ok maybe not nearing the end as I thought, it is still going well but still going....

we are done, bringing IP redirection online and then will work on hsphere.

Been up for a bit now I've watched connections come in ensuring they are connecting and working.

Hsphere can now control MSSQL8 add/remove DBs and control functions from the control panel.
