Weird, just received a really old email

This is weird, I just received a message dated Feb 2, 2005. This is a legitimate email from a business contact, not just spam. It's also not likely it was just sent because it's part of a thread of discussion he and I were having at about that time regarding a job we were working on then. Like, I don't think this guy just has his clock set wrong because it's not current subject-matter.

Oh well, just musing publickly about the fun of email delivery.

The dates can be like that if the date on the system they sent from was wrong, I had someone getting a lot of mail like this on their school system email address(outside of JH work, a few years back), and I gave him an example of how I could set my system date to 2009 and send him emails from the future, and 1997 and send from the past.
