We had a disk issue on Win5 that was forcing it into a scan-disk that brought it down for a short period of time. We are appologetic for the downtime, especially during peak hours. We have cancelled the scan-disk and will be doing a full scan-disk on the system starting 12am while it is online.

IIS on Win5 had a second crash this morning. We are monitoring it closely. A website on Win5 was being DOSed causing a number of php processes to be spawned. We have isolated this as a possible reason for the crash

We are continuing to monitor Win5 very closely for problems

There is a script that we are working to identify that is overloading the ODBC driver (probably with a loop opening connections but not closing them) and causing it to die.

We are working to prevent a reoccurance of the issue

We have positively identified what the problem is. a certain site is being DOSed or overloaded with requests at a certain times in the day. That has been resulting in crashes and various other problems on the site

We are monitoring Win5 and that site very closely and are hoping to prevent any problems on Win5 in the future
