Win6 inaccessible

Win6 just dropped offline. We are investigating this issue and we should have it up shortly

Just an update, a tech has been physically working on the server for the last 20 minutes. There seems to be a minor OS issue and we hope to get the server up fairly quickly

The server is currently displaying a blue screen while trying to reboot it. We have two very experienced techs working on the server to bring it up quickly

At the moment, we are still trying to recover Win6's OS. We are also preparing a fresh server incase we are not able to get Win6's OS up. A standby server already exists and we are preparing that as well incase. Whichever of the 3 options is available first to us, we'll be using that to bring Win6 up.

Sites are slowly coming back online as they are being restored to a new Win2003 server

The file restoration process can take upto 120 minutes. If you do not wish to wait, you can reupload your files via FTP (connect using win6.jodoshared.com)

The hshome directory has changed to E:\hshome
Please send in tickets if you are using customer Cold Fusion DSNs or FTP sub accounts so that they can be recreated

Good news. Old Win6 is back up.
We are turning that on for the moment and aborting the restore to the new server

Although the old Win6 is up, since it encountered a major OS issue we will be shifting it to the new server eventually as a precautionary measure. A date will be announced for the win6 migration and it will be done transparently without downtime. The current process would take at least another few hours and we do not wish to continue it at the sacrifice of keeping sites down

We thank our customers for their cooperation in this difficult time. Customers are free to claim SLA compensation by emailing [email protected]
