Windows to Linux

I already have a Windows shared plan and I am thinking about moving to the basic Linux plan instead because I am using php now instead of asp.

Can I change the plan through hsphere or do I have to sign up for a new linux plan, then cancel then windows plan?

since you do not have a reseller plan, you will need to sign up, move files, and cancel the windows, we can't switch you between the two in an automated manner.
