hsphere new ver

On a side note, will you be supporting .NET 3.0 Framework anytime soon? Will the upgrade be as cumbersome [If you're already on 2.0 you have to pay to switch to 3.0 server and you have to email to get switched from 1.1 to 2.0..etc] as the 1.1 to 2.0 upgrades that I've been reading about on the forums here?

Will the new hsphere allow for access to IIS settings such as switching .NET versions on site by site basis?

Thank you.

.NET framework 3.0 has no web facing features to speak of, ASP.NET 3.0 is not out yet, however it will be before too long I have some beta's with it included with Orcas.

Not true. .NET Framework contains WCF binaries that are needed for serialization into xml, json and other formats. These are used for web services.

It may not be web facing in the sense of ASP.NET but it is needed to extend the existing web services functionality from 2.0

Also, isn't that version 3.5 not 3.0 that will be included in Orcas? [I have the Beta as well and playing with Silverlight + Expression Studio].

Yep. That's my understanding as well. Just being able to SAY we support ASP.NET 3.0 (even if no one actually uses it) would be a huge selling point. There ARE people searching for this and there ARE other hosting companies supporting it.
