I appologize... this was posted by my business partner.
Let me try to clarify.
Our Dev enviorment includes many local instances of SQL Server. Each one of our instances is grouped in a seperate SQL server group in Enterprise manager for better organization.
What we were wondering is can...
I'm in the process of creating local SQL instances on my local machine and would like to upload them. The question I have is why don't we have our own SQL server group??
The reason I ask is that we may be adding several databases over the next few weeks and months and have the ability to do...
I want to customize Squirrelmail for use as the main web client mail logon for my customers.
When I enter http://mail.mydomain.com this is one of my client choices.
Where can I get these files so I can edit them? Are they in my root domain?
If I can't do this does any one have a suggestion...
Re: HELP!! how do I add .com and .net to a sub domain.
Ok so now I am really confused. I tried your suggestion
and I still got an error on both.
Domain hosting.domain.com has been taken.
Even more interesting. I can ping both of the .com subdomains but I can't reach any of the websites...
HELP!! how do I add .com and .net to a sub domain.
I have been trying to figure this one out all weekend.
I have a service domain using domain.net and configured an alias for domain.com. So far so good everything worked well.
I added 2 sub domains hosting.domain.net and webdesign.domain.net...
Interesting I am getting name resolution now.
I checked with www.DNSstuff.com and see everything working. Site is up and running now.
I still can't access my mssql manager though. I guess I will be sending a support request unless someone can suggest if I have done something wrong.
thanks.
I ping win6.mydomain.net but I cannot ping mssql2.mydomain.net, or the other 6 names I tried. I can ping everything by IP.
I can create databases, but I cannot connect to them. I think it has something to do with the name resolution.
Did I do something in my setup wrong?
IMHO, I think this type of info should be included in the signup confirmation email as well as the links provided on the web site.
Thanks for your help.
I am trying to setup my DNS and I don't know what the IP addresses are for the jodohost name servers.
My control panel view only shows ns.m****ere.com and ns2.mysphere.com are these correct? I thought they would jodohost name servers listed.
Can anyone help me.
Thanks.
I just signed up for an account and I want to know from other members how long have these problems been going on?
Less that 1 month?
More than 1 month?
More that 2 months?
More than 6 months?
I have been reading all the frustration but I have not been able to guage if these are long term...
