How/where can I create an FTP account for a subdomain off my main hosting account? I just need to give access to another admin to a specific subdomain's folder.

Is there any issue with having client use the Jodohost defalt name servers when they setup their domains? We currently only have a temp domain setup for our reseller account so would rather not have them reference it. If this is fine which name servers should we tell them, to use?

The issue is this will be a new client account under our reseler account and if I undertsand it correctly may not be on the same server.

We currently have a subdomain setup under our main reseller account as a beta/testing site for a client. We are going to want to make this into its own seperate full domain and account for the client. Is there any easy means to do this or do we basically have to start a new account from...

Managed to get it working by setting the SMTP to blank to use the default.

What server do we need ot set or configure to allow sending mail via an ASP.NET page? I used my mail3.corl.ca but gettign the following error: The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 553 sorry, that domain isn't allowed to be relayed thru this MTA...

Where can you set the default page to be laoded for a folder? Looking for change it to login.aspx but can't seem to find where this is done. EDIT - Found it. Directory Indexes.

Do you also support DSNless connections, ie where you can specify the full drive path in the connection string?

What all ODBC drivers do you support in the LiteHost plan? We needto be able to connect to Foxpro as one example.

I tried it but wasn't all that impressed. It basically just scripts the entire database structure and data to an sql file. I'd much prefer a means to do a real backup and restore from SQL Server.

I agree that using the DTS way is painful. If JH had backup/restore I would most likely signup today but this is the main reason I am still sticking with Webhost4life.

Trying to upload a larger number of files to our accoutn using FlashFPX. It starts out fine but after a few mins it starts to fail. Have to reset connection abunch of times and then it seems to work again, then same thing again. Any ideas why or howto prevent this or best way to FTP...

Its not an issue with bashing, its about doing research. This is not meant as an attack on Jodohost or any host but many start out looking good, its the long term consistency that is key. I've been wit ha few hosts now and its easy to praise them in good times, the test is when an emergency...
