Well today I was able to install the same module with no issues. Not sure what is going on.

For some odd reason installing modules on JodoHost is becoming so difficult. On my dev box I can install a particular module with no issues, but using it on JodoHost, it doesn't install. I receive this error during the install of a module: Exception: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException...

I think I was migrated to Win1 not to long ago also. I wonder if it is the configuration of Win1?

I'm happy that we got this to work, but the questions is why do we have to make this change in the web.config? I've been all over the forums at ASP.NET for DotNetNuke and no one has ever mentioned making this change. Is this something specific to the way JodoHost has configured their servers?

Got it to work :D I uncommented the wrong section...it should look like this <identity impersonate="false"/> <!-- <authentication mode="Windows"> </authentication> -->

my mistake, I first had it like this <!-- <identity impersonate="false"/> <authentication mode="Windows"> </authentication> --> I then removed the "<!-- and -->" but now the site won't even come up.

Hey folks, I really need help. I'm still unable to upload any modules. I made the change to "identity impersonate" in the web.config to "true" and it still has not resolved the issue. Here is the error message I receive each time I try to upload a module. Exception...

I made that change in the web.config file and it still failed. Any other suggestions?

I'm having the exact issue. I've already had support reset ASPNET premission on the DNN folder. I don't know what's going on.

I'm on Win4. But I remember a short while back when we had the issue with servers going down on Win5, my site was down also. I wonder if win4 and win5 are tied to eachother somehow.

How do I check whether I'm on Win5 or not?

Each I call the button to turn ASP.net from the control panel, nothing happens..the page refreshes, and it's still off. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
