9 hours

Stephen (assuming you will be the first staffer to see this!), I have read your recent posts, and I feel your pain regarding the current “storm cloud.” I have faith you will get through it.

Meanwhile I have been waiting 9 hours on a ticket, and received the auto-response only.

It is ticket [RS #BNY-96538-309].

Here is the bulk of the original ticket message:

Can you please update the PHP version setting on “xxxxx.com” from PHP 4 to PHP 5.

I tried from the cp and it said: “[COLOR=“Red”]Internal Error, Tech Support Was Notified”

Also, can you please install or send me a php.ini file for that domain?

I am trying to resolve some urgent problems with the site, so help appreciated!

This is a domain on win17.

jph,

We have a proper escalation process on [email protected] there is no need to pot to the forums and hope someone sees.

There with mail5 down it wasn’t viable of course as JH is currently on mail5, but otherwise that is the proper process, and it dispatches an email to management.

I understand, but I took a shot posting here (not only to present my problem, but to make a note on the slow response, and to also mention my support for you personally). …and I was right that you saw it fast, and if I had remembered that escalation email, it wouldn’t have worked anyway, as you say.

So, now, any way to get the problem fixed?

Thanks for the response via the original ticket!

edit: By the way, for anyone who finds this thread in the future because they are having a similar problem changing the PHP version, the fix was to first turn PHP off altogether in the web settings of the domain, then back on, then it allowed the selection of which version.

eh? it would have been fine, mail5 is running well for days now.

Well, now you are just trying to confuse me?

Why would you say this, if it was not a factor since I sent in this ticket that I was asking about?

There with mail5 down it wasn’t viable of course as JH is currently on mail5, but otherwise that is the proper process, and it dispatches an email to management.

…aaaaaaaanyway, i guess you meant that was the case recently, but not last night when this new ticket was submitted.

correct, it was an issue over the weekend and a bit into monday.
Sorry not meaning to confuse!
