I got a mail that my reseller account has used 186,505.15 MB (=186 GB) of diskspace…
This is not possible at all, as my real disk-usage is around 4GB…
I did some investigation, one of the Unix-accounts on my reseller accounts has blown its diskusage from 200MB to 4,194,330.5 MB (=4194 GB !!! = 4TB !!!)
The average on that account is 466 GB (!). See screenshot attached.
Ok I realize that this there has been some mistake in the calculations, my client is running on cluster1/web14.
However I am afraid that the weighted average where the monthly used diskspace is calculated from within hsphere totally gets messed up. Even one day at 186GB will arise the montly average by 6GB. My plan cannot handle that so if nobody removes this from the stats I will receive a huge bill at the end of the month…
How can I prevent that from happening?
