All servers down?

odd, I honestly did not try, but it is hosted outside the network and also using 3rd party DNS, it should have been up.

It was not just me, Tanmaya and I both worked, as well as upstream providers working to block the attacks.

I can completly understand Stephen. When something like this happens, out of everybody, you should not have to think bout anything, but sorting the problem. My argument is that jodopulse should be 100% working in the first place, so that you dont need to. Yash or whoever could immediatly post to jodopulse with the updates, and everyone would be happy.

its just a matter of time

Thats always the response. Jodopulse has been in that state for months. I would even say about a year (but cant confirm that, because its been that long I cant remember)

Thats the same response for hsphere updates, exchange hosting, the RIP localised hosting.

Cheers Stephen, I’m not having a go at you, just voicing concerns. Thanks for your hardwork today!!

oh…i see now we had zoneedit for jodopulse, zoneedit went down for some 48 hours or so back months ago and we changed to ours so the site would work, and forgot to change back, not a good oversight!

Looks like this was planned, below is content of page from our own server, the site being attacked :frowning:

I just had someone to translate the chinese page and it has: A little bit edited here, but:

the first line must be a name because it doesn’t make sense otherwise.
“spring scenery man yuan”.
second line is website announcement, advertisement connection. third line is web address.
fourth line is
#1 serve device <-ip address
#2 serve device,
#3 serve device.
fifth line is A lot of serve device content completely the same.

Everyone may join at their own pace. ← last line inviting people to join in attack.

JodoPulse and our notification definately need to improve, I’ll be working to fix this…
If nothing is posted on jodopulse, we have a livechat link there so you can chat with support.

But for some reason, jodopulse too went down this time.

I’ve had a talk with Tanmaya. We are going to be doing a few things, which including moving the forum off-site.
I am also jump-starting our JodoPulse project, which had been moved down my priority list all this time due to problems.

But hopefully, customers will see an improvement in communication, in situations like, in the next several weeks

Thanks Yash. That’s a great start. I think most people stop by at these forums as the first port of call if their are problems on the network
