anti virus option in hsphere 2.4

hi all

i have activated the anti virus option, and so far so good (means my norton is working less!).

is there a way to not get a notification everytime a virus was blocked?

That’s the reason I don’t use it on my own accounts.. I don’t want to even know the email was ever there and I happen to have a local mailserver set up that way :wink:

Hmm. I turned mine on and I am still getting messages with virus attachments. I have not seen a notification about a virus yet. Wonder if I set something wrong.

Answered my own question: click on the desired email address in Mail Manager, and uncheck virus option…http://lighthouse57.com/Gifs/Popcorn.gif …z

you can acctually tell Hsphere to remove, or mark as Virus, or have it sent to another address (dunno why)

all you do is click on the antivirus icon in the email list which will take you to a page to choose settings for it

its also the same for Spam, and last i checked the strongest option (Very Agressive) for anti-spam didnt work, so you had to use Agressive - not sure if thats been fixed - would have to contact jodo about that
